WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — A woman was reportedly taken to Landmark Medical Center Sunday night after being stabbed multiple times.
Woonsocket police said they responded to the area of Front Street around 6 p.m. on Sept. 21, where a witness reported someone told her they had been stabbed on Sayles Street. After searching Sayles Street, officers said they returned to Front Street, where they found a woman with multiple stab wounds to the upper arm and shoulder area.
Police say the woman’s injuries were not life-threatening, and that she reported a man had stabbed her during an argument over a “financial transaction.” She was taken to Landmark Medical Center for treatment…
