PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Dreaded changes to Rhode Island Public Transit Authority bus routes were officially put into place on Saturday, leaving some Rhode Island commuters concerned for the future.
Of the 45 routes cut or changed, under the new schedule, weekend riders are expected to take the brunt of the inconvenience.
“Having the busses be like 70, 60, 50, sometimes even just 30 minutes apart is too much,” one Providence resident told NBC 10. “It used to be like 20 minutes apart, if not 15 minutes apart.”…
