SCITUATE — Troopers arrested Cherie Hart, age 40, of Cranston on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 9:20 a.m. for an active Affidavit and Arrest Warrant.
Hart was charged with conspiracy – felony less than 5 years, obtaining property by false pretenses/personation over $10,000, fraudulently obtaining public assistance over $500, fraudulent use of food stamps over $500, access to computer for fraudulent purposes, and giving false document to agent, employee, or public official.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation conducted by Trooper Hawkins and the subject turning herself in at State Police Headquarters, where she was processed, and later transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment…
