Parents want answers after several teachers resign from Catholic school in Warwick, RI

Six teachers reportedly abruptly resigned from a Catholic school in Warwick, Rhode Island, this week, leading to concern from parents who are demanding answers.

NBC10 Boston affiliate WJAR says the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence confirmed Thursday that a “handful of teachers” voluntarily resigned this week from St. Peter School, which employs about 20-25 educators.

Parents of students at the school told WJAR they didn’t want to be identified out of fear of retaliation but said the shakeup at the small parochial school has created disruption and greatly upset the students…
