Attleboro woman demands stronger laws after dog attack

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WJAR) — Attleboro Police and animal control responded to Quinton Avenue on Oct. 6 after reports came in that a woman and her 3-year-old son were attacked by a dog in the neighborhood while out walking with her family.

The woman who was attacked spoke to NBC 10, but wished to remain anonymous. She said the traumatic incident keeps replaying in her mind.

“It went straight for my son,” said the woman who was attacked. “I yelled at the man with the dog like ‘get your dog, it’s going to attack us, get your dog,’ and he kept coming at us and he made a beeline straight for my son and knocked him off of his bicycle and grabbed him by his ankle.”…
