Rhode Island pair wanted by authorities captured after 18-month-old child tests positive for cocaine, fentanyl, exposure

Two Rhode Island residents are facing some disturbing allegations.

According to police, “on September 2, 2025, Glocester Police were called to the West Glocester Motor Inn for a reported landlord-tenant issue involving an adult female resident. During the course of this investigation, management at the Motor Inn later contacted police after discovering suspected narcotics and drug activity inside the vacant room.

“Evidence at the scene indicated that an 18-month-old child had been living in the room where drug activity was observed and documented. Officers observed children’s clothing, toys, and other personal belongings throughout the area. The Department of Children, Youth, and Families was immediately notified and opened an investigation…
