EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Christine Alves is the crazy sock lady.
The East Providence resident has been collecting socks for those in need for more than a decade.
“I’ve probably collected more than 30,000 pairs of socks,” Alves estimated. “It’s been 11 years of nonstop socks.”
