Busy 48 Hours for Rhode Island State Police: Arrests Made from Providence to Lincoln

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Rhode Island State Police had a busy end to the week, making a series of arrests across the state ranging from assault and fraud to DUI and reckless driving.

On Thursday afternoon, October 23, 2025, at 1:20 p.m., Troopers arrested 47-year-old Jordan Pacheco of 21 Willow Street, Riverside, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the original charges of Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct. The warrant originated out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. According to authorities, the arrest came after a Barracks investigation and Pacheco voluntarily turning himself in. He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.

That same night, at 10:20 p.m., Troopers took 36-year-old Milano Andre Fields of 199 School Street, Boston, Massachusetts, into custody at Twin River Casino in Lincoln. Fields was wanted on a Superior Court Bench Warrant for a technical violation on the original charge of Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver, stemming from a case with the North Smithfield Police Department. Police said the arrest happened as Troopers assisted Detectives with an unwanted party at the casino. Fields was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center…
