NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The North Providence Fire Department said the Rhode Island Bomb Squad was called to assist after a grenade was found inside a North Providence home on Monday.
According to the department, a woman was cleaning out her house on Urban Avenue when she discovered a hand grenade.
The police and fire departments responded to the home and contacted the Rhode Island Bomb Squad for assistance…
