One held on bail, another without bail, after Fall River Police charge 3 when young child allegedly had access to unsecured firearms

Fall River Police charged three people after an incident at a city housing complex.

According to police, on Wednesday, members of the Fall River Police Department Patrol Bureau responded to Maple Gardens for a report of an individual in possession of a firearm. Upon arrival, officers detained the involved male, identified as 30-year-old Lesly Saintfar.

Officers determined that a physical altercation had taken place between 27-year-old Sharian Downs and 28-year-old Lucita Louis following a verbal argument. During the incident, Sharian deployed pepper spray toward Lucita. Witnesses further reported that Lesly pointed a black handgun at a witness during the altercation.
