EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A former cheerleading coach convicted of child molestation charges earlier this year will spend at least two more years behind bars after she was denied parole Wednesday.
The Rhode Island Parole Board opted to deny Alyshia Tkacs’ request for early release, according to administrator Sarah Parrillo.

Tkacs, 36, of Cranston, pleaded no contest back in January to three counts of first-degree child molestation.
