MANCHESTER, Conn. (WJAR) — A relatively new method of disposition is growing in popularity in Southern New England, despite not yet being legal in either Rhode Island or Massachusetts.
It’s called alkaline hydrolysis, more commonly known as either Aquamation or water cremation. In Connecticut, there’s currently one facility offering the service.
