The Old Farmer’s Almanac Predicts a Mild, Dry Winter for Rhode Island Homeowners

The Old Farmer’s Almanac has released its 2025–2026 Winter Forecast, calling this year’s national outlook “mostly mild—with pockets of wild.”

Editor Carol Connare explains that “most areas will experience near-normal to slightly milder temperatures,” though a few regions will still see cold interruptions.
