PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The city of Providence has paid out $126,000 in settlements for an officer who faced four federal lawsuits, Target 12 has learned.
On Tuesday, federal court filings showed that a settlement against Officer Matthew Sheridan had been approved a month earlier by the Providence City Council’s Committee on Claims and Pending Suits.
