PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The Providence Police Department has released body-worn camera footage showing the aftermath of an October crash that involved federal agents and a civilian driver.
Officers responded to Raymond Street and Chalkstone Avenue on Oct. 14, where a utility pole had been knocked down. An unmarked SUV belonging to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had reportedly been hit by another vehicle after entering the intersection.

The incident report, obtained by 12 News, states the SUV ran a red light while traveling east on Chalkstone Avenue and collided with a sedan heading north on Raymond Street. Police said the SUV then struck a telephone pole, which broke and fell onto the sedan.
The driver of the sedan told police he was first in line at the light and had a green signal when the SUV drove straight through the intersection without its sirens on, according to the report.
