Two Fall River streets are now one-ways

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — Sections of two streets in Fall River have been converted to one-ways as part of a traffic safety plan for Westall Elementary School.

Mayor Paul Coogan and Traffic Department Director Stephanie MacArthur announced Monday that Maple Street became a westbound one-way between June and North Main streets as of Dec. 4.

June Street is also now a one-way heading southbound from Prospect Street to Maple Street.

The city noted that the changes are meant to “improve traffic flow and enhance safety for all students, staff, and nearby drivers.”…
