Homeless shelters brace for influx as cold weather moves in

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — With frigid weather making its way through the region, a number of cities and towns are opening up their warming shelters so those experiencing homelessness have somewhere to sleep.

First Step Inn on Durfee Street in Fall River opened its temporary warming shelter Monday evening.
