PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Common Cause Rhode Island intervened in a federal lawsuit Tuesday in an attempt to prevent the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) from accessing the state’s personal voter information.
The lawsuit, filed against Rhode Island Secretary of State Gregg Amore last week, stems from his refusal to comply with the DOJ’s request for the state’s voter records.
