Fall River Police responded to a city school after a call that came into dispatch.
At approximately 1:00 p.m., Durfee High School received a threat, and, out of an abundance of caution, the school was placed in a shelter-in-place status while officers conduct a thorough search in coordination with school administrators.
According to police, officers thoroughly searched and cleared the school. The caller alleged the presence of a bomb and a firearm on campus, provided false student names, and demonstrated no accurate knowledge of the school.
