West Warwick police give $100 bills during traffic stops to spread holiday cheer

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) — Police officers in West Warwick are shocking driving during traffic stops by handing them $100 bills.

“In this world everyone could use a hand,” said Patrolman Eric Cruz. “When they saw the cash a couple females starting crying one of them yesterday gave us both a big hug.”
