Chas Calenda tapped as interim US attorney of Rhode Island

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Chas Calenda, a former Republican candidate for R.I. attorney general and West Greenwich town councilor, has been appointed as the interim U.S. attorney for Rhode Island.

Calenda told 12 News over the phone Saturday he was selected Tuesday by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi.
