Murder charge dismissed in 2012 beating after suspect dies

COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) — The man accused of beating another man to death at a Coventry assisted living facility more than a decade ago has died, 12 News has learned.

Court documents reveal that the murder charge against 67-year-old Domenic Petrarca was dismissed after he died back in October.
