PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly assaulting someone with a hammer in Providence.
Officers were called to an apartment building on Putnam Street for reports of a disturbance involving a suspect armed with a hammer. When the officers arrived, police said they found a man outside bleeding from a head injury.
