There’s no question it looks and feels like the heart of winter across Southern New England today, with some snow on the ground and temperatures in the 20s all under a mix of sun and clouds.
Temperatures drop quickly into the teens shortly after sunset as the clouds disperse. Aside from the cold conditions, there are no significant weather issues to report. The weekend forecast begins with a similar pattern on Saturday: morning sunshine will be followed by increasing clouds in the afternoon, with temperatures rising to the upper 20s, possibly near 30 degrees.
