The Fall River Police Department is warning residents about a potential scam involving someone falsely claiming to be a National Grid employee. Officers are currently investigating and want to make the public aware.
A recent report involved a resident on Arizona Street who stated a person claimed to represent National Grid and attempted to gain entry into the home, saying they needed to work on a computer to fix a utility account. The resident did not allow the person inside. This is the second similar report National Grid received, and they relayed this information to FRPD.
