Cleanup underway after snow blankets Southern New England

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Southern New England looks like a winter wonderland on Monday.

Meteorologist T.J. Del Santo said generally, 3-6 inches of snow fell, with a bit higher totals in isolated areas.

As of 11 a.m., there are more than 6,000 Rhode Island Energy customers without power and more than 800 National Grid customers in Bristol County, Massachusetts, without power.
