Warwick State Representative Joe Solomon announced he is running for Rhode Island attorney general. The field already has a number of candidates, including former prosecutor and McKee appointee Kim Ahern and State Rep. Jason Knight.
Solomon, in his press release sent out by a Washington, D.C. consulting firm, said:
“I’m not running to learn on the job. I’ve spent my career in the courtroom, making the tough calls as a bail commissioner and writing laws that protect Rhode Island families. I’ve already been doing this work, and Rhode Island deserves an Attorney General who shows up ready on day one.”…
