BURRILLVILLE – A Pascoag man who reportedly became agitated with the driver of a sports car for following his vehicle too closely was arrested this month after a road rage incident that ended when he waved a BB gun at the offender.
Glenn Harrison, 53, of Camp Dixie Road was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of a weapon following the incident on Wednesday, Jan. 14.
According to the arrest report, Harrison flagged down police patrolling at the intersection of Steere Farm and Lapham Farm Roads around 4 p.m., and told the officer that the vehicle directly behind him, a black Porsche with Connecticut plates, had been following him since he first encountered it while driving in Smithfield.
Harrison said the incident began on Route 44 where the car began following him too closely after a merge. The Porsche then passed him and he passed it again, Harrison said, after which the sports car followed him back to Burrillville, and Harrison became nervous it would follow him home…
