A Rhode Island woman has been sentenced after a disturbing find by police officers.
According to police, on December 19th, Coventry Animal Control Officers responded to Circlewood Drive to conduct a wellbeing check of the animals on the property.
When Animal Control arrived at the residence, they located a male German Shepherd “Hanz” confined to a sunroom. The dog was clearly emaciated with his ribs, hips, and spine visible through the skin. There were no indications that the dog had access to any food or water…
