A mother and son were shot and killed Friday in Fall River and a man is in custody, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
Elizabeth Almeida, 54, and Nicholas Almeida, 25, were found suffering from gunshot wounds when Fall River police responded to a report of a double shooting around 8:05 p.m., according to authorities. They were taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
