FALL RIVER – David Reed was found not guilty of first-degree murder in the brutal slaying of his half-sister Rose Marie Moniz almost 25 years ago in New Bedford after a three-week jury trial in Bristol County Superior Court in Fall River.
The jury verdict was delivered on what relatives said would’ve been Rose Marie’s 67th Feb. 2 birthday.
