BURRILLVILLE – A fire Thursday morning at a business that recycles wood pallets brought out crews from across Rhode Island and neighboring Massachusetts before firefighters got it under control.
Burrillville firefighters were called to Atlas Pallet at 50 Old Mill Street around 9:30 a.m. to find a roughly 20 X 30 area of pallets on fire inside a structure secondary to the main building.
Mutual aid was called in to the two-alarm blaze, with crews responding from Uxbridge, Millville and Douglas, Mass., along with fire departments in Harmony, Glocester, Smithfield, Lincoln, Chepachet and North Smithfield…
