If you’ve lived on the SouthCoast long enough, you know we take serious pride in two things: our Portuguese food and our legendary chow mein noodles made right here in Fall River. So when word started spreading about a dish that combines both into one creation, I had to check it out.
Turns out, this might actually be one of the most SouthCoast dish collaborations ever.
I called over to Avo’s Feast in Fall River to get the scoop, and sure enough, the Portuguese Steak Chow Mein is not a limited experiment. It’s officially on the menu for the foreseeable future, and judging by the early reaction, it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
