Breeze Airways will put the international into Rhode Island T.F. Green International Saturday, Feb. 14, when it launches its first international service from the Ocean State, flying to Cancun, Mexico.
In September, Breeze and Green announced that the airline would run an eight-week test program from February to April offering one flight each Saturday between Rhode Island and Cancun.
“Providence has always played a major role in our network, and we like to consider ourselves the hometown carrier in PVD,” David Neeleman, Breeze Airways founder and CEO, said in a news release. “This new service to Cancún will offer our Guests a great opportunity to take a week-long vacation to a beautiful beach destination during the colder winter months.
