PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Michael Black was at Lynch Arena Monday afternoon with his wife, supporting their best friend’s son, when he heard the gunshots.
“I remember looking up at the clock and seeing there was approximately 10 minutes left in the first period, then all of a sudden I heard ‘bang, bang,’” Black recalled. “It sounded like big balloons. It didn’t sound like gunfire in the beginning.”
