PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The family of a Providence woman who died in a fire last December is suing Rhode Island Hospital and a local funeral home after discovering the wrong remains were released and buried.
The family’s attorney, Paul Sullivan, said Emilia Severino was one of two victims in the deadly Christmas Day fire that broke out on Princeton Street. Two other people were hurt in the fire, but their conditions were not immediately known on Thursday.
