PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — More than two weeks into tax season, the Rhode Island Department of Administration (DOA) said it will send corrected forms to all state employees after the initial W-2s had the employer incorrectly listed as the “State of Rhode Island Umbrella Company.”
Joe DeLuca told 12 News that he and others received the misprinted W-2 forms earlier this month.
“I thought it was spam,” DeLuca recalled.

12 News obtained emails sent to state employees over the last week saying they will receive corrected W-2 forms, known as W-2C. But there have been mixed messages on when they will go out.
