‘Worst we’ve seen in 40 years’: Cranston mayor urges residents to stay off roads during blizzard

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Cranston Mayor Ken Hopkins joined 12 News Monday morning to share current blizzard conditions and plans for cleanup in the city.

As snow will continue to fall well into the evening, Hopkins relayed this main message for Cranston residents: stay off the roads.

“Keep your cars off the road so we can get the work done,” he said. “It’s probably going to take us at least a week to get this cleared out and back in order.”…
