Vermont, PA, CT and Maine will help RI dig out after blizzard

CRANSTON − Help for blizzard-weary Rhode Island plow drivers arrived Wednesday, Feb. 25, from Vermont and other Northeast states with a few snow plows to spare.

Five Vermont Transportation Agency dump trucks towing front-end loaders arrived at the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency warehouse on Plainfield Pike around noon before being deployed across the state.
