‘I’m an AG’ from viral video back at work, but in different role

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — The Rhode Island state prosecutor seen in a viral video during her arrest last summer is now back to work following a six-month unpaid suspension, though in a different role, NBC 10 has confirmed.

Devon Hogan Flanagan, a special assistant attorney general, was seen on Newport police body-camera video last August repeatedly telling officers, “I’m an AG,” after a restaurant called police to complain about the behavior of Hogan Flanagan and a friend.

Hogan Flanagan was seen on video arguing with officers who asked her to leave, and told them, “you’re going to regret this,” as they put her in the back of a police cruiser…
