PROVIDENCE, RI — Three men face multiple charges including drive-by shootings and firearms offenses following an investigation by the Rhode Island State Police Major Crimes Unit.
Troy Torres, 20, of Providence, was arrested on February 25, 2026, and charged with drive-by shootings, using a firearm when committing a crime of violence resulting in injury, using a firearm when committing a crime of violence, license or permit required for carrying a pistol, possession of firearms by certain persons prohibited, conspiracy, duty to stop in accident resulting in injury, duty to stop for accident resulting in damage to attended motor vehicle, false report of a crime and obstruction of an officer in execution of duty.
Torres was processed at State Police Headquarters, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and turned over to officials at the ACI Intake Center pending his arraignment in Sixth Division District Court…
