Police: Adult couple charged with throwing rocks at passing vehicles in Southwick

SOUTHWICK — When the first reports from motorists about their vehicles being damaged by rocks thrown from a passing truck on College Highway trickled into the police station last week, officers initially thought it was simply a stupid, but dangerous, prank by wayward teenagers.

But it wasn’t kids. It was two adults, who were charged by Southwick police last week with eight counts of malicious damage to a motor vehicle and seven counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, according to court records.
