Providence man accused of threatening Providence police chief appears in court

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — A Providence man accused of threatening the Providence police chief after an accident appeared in court for his arraignment on Monday.

According to officials, Jonathan Galdamez is facing charges of threatening a public official and disorderly conduct acter a car accident involving Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez.

At his arraignment, no plea was entered and he was referred to a public defender for this case.

He was also given $2,000 surety bail…
