On Saturday at 12:09 p.m. a high wind watch was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Monday 5 p.m. until Tuesday 6 a.m. for Middlesex, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bristol and Plymouth counties.
The weather service comments, “South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible. Strongest of the winds will be Monday night.”
“Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles,” explains the weather service. “Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.”
