The Rhode Island State Police have released DUI arrest numbers from Saturday, March 14.
The majority of those arrests were on Aquidneck Island following the 70th annual Newport St. Patrick’s Day parade. In total, seven people were charged with driving under the influence in Newport and Middletown, according to the RISP.
