WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Woonsocket-based CVS Health unveiled the first of nearly 20 pharmacy-only stores that will open this year.
The first pharmacy-only CVS opened in Chicago on Monday. The new pharmacies are designed to “bridge gaps in care” and make it easier for patients to access medications, immunizations and other health services provided by pharmacists, according to CVS.
