Artist Guido Nincheri turned an unplastered church in Woonsocket into a masterpiece worthy of world renown.
Built in 1914, the church was impressive, but it was a blank canvas, with bare concrete walls, wood or plaster altars, railings and statues and no stained-glass windows.
