West Warwick fire crews respond to basement flooded with heating oil

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) — West Warwick fire officials said a home basement was flooded with around 50 gallons of heating oil on Thursday.

According to officials, they responded to a home on 244 Providence St. at around 8:47 a.m.

Fire officials said a heating oil company pumped home fuel oil into a fuel spout that was disconnected. The heating oil poured into the basement.
