Bristol bookkeeper charged with failure to pay $787K in taxes

BRISTOL, R.I. (WPRI) — A woman who managed finances at a family-owned landscaping business in Bristol is accused of falsely reporting and failing to pay years’ worth of taxes to the IRS.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Rhode Island, Nikola Francis has been charged in federal court with failure to withhold or pay employment taxes.
