MELVILLE,N.Y. — Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is continuing its expansion across Long Island, with two new stores set to open this year as part of its steady East Coast growth strategy.
The Italian specialty grocer will open a new location in Greenvale on Aug. 14 and plans to launch a second store in Levittown during the fourth quarter, according to co-founder and CEO Carl DelPrete.
The Greenvale store will occupy a 52,000-square-foot former Stop & Shop site at Wheatley Plaza, while the Levittown location will fill a 50,000-square-foot space previously occupied by King Kullen. Both supermarkets closed in October 2024…
